The issue is not likely an actual dearth of knowledge or knowing. Rather, it’s unimpeded access to the information. There are so many inspiring people who allow incredible volume and quality of information to come through. Think Rain Man.

But I’m not talking savant courses here.

Simply, there is a point past which the thinking process is more or less counterproductive. That’s partly because the process of thinking is more in the nature of an aggregator and translator of information rather than an independent source.  More on that point at another time.

For now, let’s just look at the practical dynamics.

Thinking tends to work until that special moment when it becomes redundant, repetitive and or generates a feeling of being compulsive and out of balance. At that point, which is likely a feeling of frustration and confusion, you only need switch your attention from the thinking process to another stream or avenue of communication. That could include a move to, for example, your feelings, your emotions, even just your relaxed sense of things.

Of course this presupposes that you have become consciously aware of what’s going on internally so that you recognize the point at which you are becoming confused or befuddled by way of your thoughts.

As you accomplish that awareness, at that point, as you switch from thinking toward an internal channel of communication within yourself, you can get a real sense of the Rain Man within.  No savant course required.
